My flight back to Kuala Lumpur was supposedly at 8.10 p.m. but had been delayed for 20 minutes. Board the plane and experienced another delay for like 10 minutes due to air traffic.
Anyway, I arrived at LCCT around 11.30 p.m. and was picked up by my uncle, auntie and a cousin. After arrived at their apartment in Cheras, we went for a midnight snack. I went to bed around 3 in the morning.
At 7 in the morning, I was already waiting for the cab and arrived in the campus around 8. Just in time to check in the mahallah.
Around 1.45 p.m. I went to the new CENSERVE office in S-Dev office at Level 3, above the Evoke cafe and waited for another MISI Club member before heading to Port Dickson.
We arrived in Golden Strait Villas, Port Dickson around 3.45 p.m. and settled down right away. I shared a room with Shura Team's Sr. Zaharah and our Madam Nelli. The room was fine and the verandah was facing towards the inner area of the villa. I could see the blue pool water from my window and felt tempted to jump in like all the time!
The workshop is basically about how to make proper program proposal, the dos and don'ts while handling program and other things as well.
All representatives from all clubs under CENSERVE have to prepare the updated club almanac, plan of action, and mot importantly, balance scorecard. All three of them was kinda hard to approach at the beginning but Alhamdullillah, everything was fine at the end of the workshop. But unfortunately, we're ran out of time and as for MISI Club, the club I'm representing, didn't manage to present our assignments. But we still need to present in front of Mdm. Nelli in near future, Insya Allah.
Overall the workshop was fine. After being appointed as one of the presidential post last November, I was't really prepared for the job given but now I feel more secured and ready to start my very first program - MISI Fest'12, as program manager.
I hope everything will run smoothly and to those IIUM students out there who happened to read this entry, do come and visit our booth nearby Mini Auditorium and learn about the nature of our MISI Club. There're going to be information counter, photo exhibition, testimonials from previous programs and traditional cookies flown all the way from Sabah and Sarawak just for you guys.
Right now, I just came back from KAED office and finished submitting the form of 'Change of Program'. I'm changing from Applied Arts Design department to Architecture Department.
Wish me luck!
P.S.: Just finished watching '3 Idiots' and now chanting "All Is Well".. :)
