The Quest for Mum's Anniversary Present

Me and the Gang went to KL today to get some stuffs from Low Yatt Plaza and planned to have a feast at Nando's after that. But I'll post about the latter on part 2 of this post.

Anyway, I thought this quest was supposed to be easy. But I was wrong.

It all started when me and mum saw the main Protagonist, Goo Jaehee was using a nice (and hard to find) beautiful original Samsung Galaxy SIII Light Blue case for her smartphone in the To The Beautiful You drama. Simply put, it's this.

Scenes from the drama...

One of the scene...

Another one...

At Cha Eungyeol's house.

This one is funny. Who calls her roommate who apparently is just lying at the bottom bunk?

Mum never had interest on the gadget world or its accessories so I never thought that this day would come that she even expressed her desire upon something so trivial.

... because of that, I'm more than happy to buy this for her.

Hence, the trip to Low Yatt Plaza.

Me, Mimi, and Syira went to literally more than 10 shops just to find it. There are non-originals ranges from RM30 to RM 45 but none of them has this colour.

My hopes went down and down after the 9th shop. Along the way, we even discovered the similar thing only it's meant for Samsung S Mini. Mimi, who's known for her love towards Hello Kitty even discovered the Samsung Galaxy Y Hello Kitty Edition.

I even managed to google the Samsung Official site and found that this thing is the most popular accessory and that makes me think that it might be impossible to get it for mum.

But I still went to another few shops. I recalled what Kang Taejoon said in the drama.

"기적. 그것은 노력의 다른 이름입니다."

I know. This whole thing sounds so dramatic. Just bear with me for a sec. haha

.... I was on the verge of giving up until while were standing in the middle of Level 3, I noticed the shop that I once bought a stylus for my iPad 2 from.

... and there it is. The last piece of Samsung Galaxy SIII Flip Cover Model EFC-1G6FLEC Light Blue, originally made from Korea.

I know. I know. Sounds a bit exaggerating. Cause this whole so-called quest is exaggerating on its own.

I even compared it to the new Samsung Galaxy S Mini version just to make sure it's the real thing. Not wasting another second, I bought it! Oh, what a relief, finally!

So, tada!

Then I thought... Should I get another one for Dad? Well, what I know for sure that Dad doesn't dig this kind of colour. I think I'll just get a white or black one later on cause that seems to be easy to find. I'll ask him later.

Then, I went to buy a new case for my iPad 2 as the one I'm using is deteriorating. Since I couldn't find the one style I wanted, and the only brand that's seems nice but I'm sick of it already is Capdase. So I just go with black... and pink. Though I know someone will be surprised as she has this unconditional love towards pink.

You know who you are.

Alright. I'll post the part 2 tomorrow.

Adious.

2 Weeks and I'm Bored.

Yesterday, I found out that there's clashed between the schedules of subjects I have been taking and the result of that is I have to choose between Structures I and Islamic Worldview.

.... As the process of adding the Islamic Worldview subject was just really crazy and almost made me wanna cry in the middle of the campus the other day plus it's really difficult to register that subject via online, and as Structures I is offered every semester, I decided to let go Structures I.

Hence, I merely taking three subjects this semester. Sigh~

I guess, I have to make use of my time to study harder and practice my drawing skills.

I've been looking for material the past few days and I don't know whether this sounds good or just weird, I've also been trying to find something that I can't really describe in words as for now.

It might be a thing. Or maybe a person.

That can make me myself again.

I guess I'm just really down because of not being able to continue design studio with my friends.

Why does this happen to me?

I Am Who I Am

When I was 16, I literally just go with what's been decided for me. I went for Biology.

When I was 18, it's natural for me to pursue Biological Science as I did better in Biology compared to Physics. So I changed from Engineering Department to Biological Science Department.

But at the end of my first year, I was considering to change into Law as I found Biological Science isn't interesting as I thought it would be. But then, I just followed my lecturers advice to finish what I had started.

Throughout these years, I had an AED roommate.

When I was 20, I went on with pursuing Biomedical Science as I already half-heartedly did Foundation in Biological Science.

… Then I found something and without realizing it, I have a change in my heart.

.... and at that moment I think I fell in love with it. But because of that, I received an ultimatum from my parents so I just went on until I reached my second year...

Then when I was 23, reality hit me.

Things happened for reasons. Blah. Blah. Blah.

Today, when I think of it. True, it's been a long road and sometimes, I feel like just want to quit as it's undeniable that I'm tired of this life. As I've been stuck with this phase while other people have already moved on with their lives.

Feels like I have lived 100 years.

After what happened during the previous semester, people asked me questions like…

"… are you sure you want to continue?" or

"… do you have second thought about this whole architecture thing?" even

"… you didn't planning on changing course, right?"

Surprisingly, even to myself. The answer to all these questions and the like, no.

I won't give up. I know I have chose a difficult path to walk on but no.
I won't give it up. …. and most importantly, I don't give a damn about you bloodsuckers, losers saying awful things about me.

Cause I am who I am. I have my own pace.

You won't understand what I have gone through in order to stand here today.

Well, some of you did understand.

But to you people, who're with shallow perceptions on me, just get away.

Find something else to talk about.

Cause you know what? I don't give a damn to people who don't give a damn about me.

End of statement.

Should I Or Should I Not?

It's been awhile since I last updated this blog.

Well, as I only have been updating "Live Your Life to the Fullest" and "Light Up My Soul"...

Anyway, the last entry was... wow. 6 months ago? To you guys who've been reading my blog; I was quite surprised to see the stats actually, I really appreciate it. Thank you very much. Just leave comments if you guys want to. Sorry for removing some really personal comments though. Hehe

For the past six months of my life, so many things happened, of course. First studio was really crazy. I have gained great companions along the way. Up to the point where we even contact each other during the semester breaks. Yep! Though it's been only 4 months we know each other, we kinda attached to each other very well. Haha

The semester break was nice. Really. Now that we have built a small office nearby our house, it's so easy to operate things rather than we have to back and forth from the town nearby as dad's office is located there. Dad's gonna officially move his things probably in this upcoming months. Mom too.

There's also a plan where dad gonna built a new house for us. Us here only me, mom and my younger brother as he gonna let my big bro live in our old house. When he retired from air force in 5 years time.

What else? Oh. About the entry's topic.

Should I or Should I Not?

I was thinking to actually take Japanese lessons. Like some sort of introduction before I really going to take a real Japanese Language Proficiency Test later on. I need to at least pass N2 before I could I actually apply to Japanese university.

So, I'm gonna use the next 3 years to study the language, aiming to further my study there.

Well, that's my plan for now.

That's what I've been thinking recently. I'm tired to think about what going to happened in the next 5 years, 10 years already. I'll think about that later.

My best friend is right. Totally.

Maybe it's time for me to think about me. I should move on. I guess it's time to let go of that person, too. I'm talking about a person who I have been thinking about for the past 7 years.

I feel so lightless when I finally come to term to that. It's been really stuffy so I guess that's probably the reason why.

Since there's no possibility for us being together. Who knows what's gonna happen in near future but as for right now, I think I'm just gonna live with the fact that I'm ready to let him go.

Huh. We're not even together before this. Yeah. I guess it's really weird to keep on waiting for someone that'll never come, right?

So, yeah. 2013 is gonna be a great year.

Now, I'm really free.

Just Wanna Get Away

Since the upcoming weekend is going to be holiday, some of my friends decided either to go back or planned to go somewhere, before getting caught in the hectic life of architecture students week after this.

Hence, me, Mimi and Syamil went to Aeon Wangsa Maju to go for a little shopping and most definitely we all want to get something to nice to eat. First week but I'm bored with campus cafe already!

The moment we arrived, we're all hungry so... Kenny Rogers it is!

While waiting for our food... We did some 3-seconds-poses =D

One!

Two!

Three! LOL love this one! :B
After waiting for like 10 minutes... Tada!

Mine is a Quarter Black Pepper Chicken, with mashed potato and Supreme Salad on the side.
Love the salad!

Chocolate Muffin for Syamil, Banana for Mimi and mine is Mocha flavoured. One of the reason why I love Kenny Roger's! Homemade muffin!
Then, went around the upper level to get some stuffs from Guardian - these things never enough! and then we went to Lovely Lace.

I love lavender! The Reed diffuser is definitely the right choice to buy especially since I'm living in 'no-candles' zone - our beloved mahallah. The Fragrance sachet can be placed in our wardrobe or any closed space. Totally give you a refreshed every time you open your closet!

I was thinking to go to my big bro's place tomorrow to see my beloved nephew, Adam. So, until then, I'll see you guys on next post!

Ciao!
